Review: Fishpond® Blue River Chest Pack

With the move from classic fishing vests to alternative packs and modern vests, the Fishpond Blue River Chest Pack is a well designed and functional chest pack for any level fly fisherman.  

The pack can be worn on the chest, lumbar or as a sling pack. The ability for the pack to convert so easily is one of its best features. The large main compartment provides secure storage for one large or several medium size fly boxes. The zip-down foam fly bench in the front lets you get to your hot patterns more quickly. With five internal pockets and four total zippered compartments this pack is perfect for quick trips or full day excursions.

Putting it through days and days of fishing in various conditions revealed no problems. The pack holds up well and is easy to fish with. The waxed canvas not only looks cool but provides great durability.
