Hilton Head Island in South Carolina is pushing back its proposed rule that would have limited fishing during the tourist season. The rule was put forth based on the concern that fishing might be attracting sharks to the shallows where people are swimming. 500 citations have been issued on Hilton Head Beaches for chumming and catching sharks, which are already against the law.
